FENECH-SOLER

Style: electro pop

The UK electro pop band will release its sophomore album in September. The record's first single, "Magnetic", is a little precursor to the autumn release: the boys remain true to their synth pop formula of grand, emotional instrumentation and beat arrangements.

BIG BLACK DELTA

Style: dark space disco

After playing with the experimental combo Mellowdrone and supporting M83 on tour, Jonathan Bates (from Highland Park, Illinois) decided to pursue a solo career. His sound's reminiscent of M83, yet a lot spacier. It's basically dark disco with a lot of synth. With two drummers on stage, his live shows are quite spectacular.

SNAKEHIPS

Style: electronic hip hop, sample R&B

Ollie & James are two boys from London currently causing a stir in the blogosphere after having uploaded their electronic, sample-heavy hip hop tunes to SoundCloud. In the way they use samples, their sound is reminiscent of 90s French house.

SIMIAN GHOST

Style: alternative pop

The Swedish trio from Sandviken already has two albums under its belt which brought them raving reviews from The Times and The Guardian. Touring with Mount Kimbie, SBTRKT, Niki & The Dove and Active Child, they reached an every growing audience with their glittery approach to pop music.

DACO JUNIOR

Style: electro hop, dance pop

After having had a number one success with "Gravity" in his home country Finland, the son of Angolan immigrants is about to take on the world with his debut album, "Heartbeat Solo". With catchy dance pop tunes, Daco Junior manages to also bring his hip hop roots into the mix.

S O H N

Style: soulful electronics

S O H N, a multi-instrumentalist and producer from London, created his very own sound by mixing the old with the new, analogue drum machines with synthscapes galore. His wonderful voice make the songs even more recognisable. Within a week, his track, "The Wheel", made it from a few bloggers' desk to the BBC Radio 1 playlist. After having sold out his Berlin show in April, he will once again perform in the German capital at Berlin Festival.
