Damas Gratis will be presented on July 12 for the first time in Berlin. A day to enjoy the rhythm of cumbia by the hand of the great: Pablo Lescano

«He who does not raise his hands, drives the patrol car», incites the popular party Pablito Lescano, national hero of Argentine cumbia who will disembark with his band Damas Gratis this July 12 in Astra. The historic band will offer, as always, a show of pure cumbia ATR.

They have been sending cumbia to the universe for more than two decades and where the group will visit the German capital with a show, to a full house, where they will review all the classics of their long career and the most recent songs. There will be a theme for the fervent audience of Damas where we will all vibrate on our feet from start to finish in a full house Astra. It will be a night of pure cumbia and emotions.

Dozens of groups have been inspired by this great band; commonly called «cumbia villera», having given rise to the spread of this background of cumbia, from Mexico to Patagonia, making it a standard bearer of the demands of the popular classes. This cumbier villera, soundtrack of the Argentine ghettos, has occupied the place occupied by the hip-hop movement in our suburbs for almost two decades. Music has become the means of expression for the most disadvantaged classes.
