Ca7riel was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1993, in a family of artisans. His father was also a guitarist, forming part of a band called El Tinto Mandamiento. He lived part of his childhood in Pringles and the other in the neighborhood of La Paternal in the city of Buenos Aires .

In primary school he met Ulises Guerriero, with whom he would form a friendship. He completed his secondary studies at the Juan Pedro Esnaola School of Artistic Education in Music, from where he would graduate as a music teacher. Catriel often used his father's guitar to play songs from metal bands such as Pantera , Megadeth, and Steve Vai . He worked as a session player and in some cover bands.

Around 2011, he formed the band Astor y las Flores de Marte, together with Ulises Guerriero on drums, Alan Alonso on voice, guitars and samples and Felipe Brandy on voice and bass. His style navigated between progressive rock , funk and reggae , with a clear influence from Luis Alberto Spinetta and Charly García . In 2017 they released the EP Vacations All Year. The band lasted seven years.

While playing with Astor, Catriel began to suffer from a need for money. Thanks to a childhood friend, he started rap and participated in the free style battle El Quinto Escalón, although it did not have good results. He set up a home studio in his house, where he recorded his first demos and created his rapper alter ego: Ca7riel, in order to start making money. In 2015 he released his first hip hop album: Cve7e , moving away from the style developed with Astor.

In March 2018 he released the EPs Povre and Livre that include the songs No Aterrizada , Vibra Alta and Terrible Kiko . The two EPs were going to form a full-length album but finally Ca7riel decided to release them separately. For the shows he began to call Ulises, who went on to use the nickname Paco Amoroso.

In mid-2018 Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso decided to form a trap duo. Their first song was "Piola", which was followed by hits like Jala Jala, Ouke, Ola Mina XD and Mi Sombra. They perform live with the ATR Banda.
Was the guitarist rapper Wos in their live shows until November 2019.

Su estilo navegaba entre el rock progresivo, el funk y el reggae, con una clara influencia de Luis Alberto Spinetta y Charly García. En 2017 lanzaron el EP Vacaciones todo el año. La banda duró siete años.

Armó un estudio casero en su casa, donde grabó sus primeros demos y creó su alter ego rapero: Ca7riel, en pro comenzar a ganar dinero. En 2015 lanzó su primer disco de hip hop: Cve7e, alejándose del estilo desarrollado con Astor.

En marzo de 2018 editó los EP Povre y Livre que incluyen los temas No Aterrizó, Vibra Alta y Terrible Kiko. Los dos EP iban a formar un disco de larga duración pero finalmente Ca7riel decidió lanzarlos por separado.1 Para los shows comenzó a llamar a Ulises, quien pasó a utilizar el apodo Paco Amoroso.

A mediados de 2018 Ca7riel y Paco Amoroso decidieron formar un dúo de trap. Su primera canción fue "Piola", a la que siguieron éxitos como Jala Jala, Ouke, Ola Mina XD y Mi Sombra. En vivo se presentan junto a la ATR Banda.
Fue el guitarrista del rapero Wos en sus shows en vivo hasta noviembre del 2019.
